Some people discover their passions later in life, while others are born with them woven into who they are. I belong to the second group. Brazilian and Italian by heritage and American in soul, my connection with horses began in childhood and has shaped my life ever since.At the age of eight, my first encounters with horses came through My Little Pony. What began as imagination soon became fascination, planting an early and lasting bond that would quietly grow with me over time.I started riding at thirteen on my aunt’s farm, and soon after, instinct gave way to structure through formal equestrian training. Horses were never a hobby. They were a constant presence, a compass that guided every stage of my journey. As a teenager, this connection naturally translated into art. I began drawing horses by hand, exploring form, movement, and expression through graphite long before I ever held a camera.Although life initially led me down a different professional path, art remained patient and persistent. Music, drawing, and visual exploration were always present, until photography became my language. I worked across many genres, documenting people, architecture, nature, and moments suspended in time. Each experience refined my eye and deepened my understanding of light, composition, and storytelling.My return to horses happened in the United States, where I felt an immediate sense of belonging. By destiny, I found myself living in Wellington, Florida, the winter equestrian capital of the world. Being immersed in this environment allowed my two passions to finally reunite. Today, my work brings together years of artistic exploration and equestrian experience, resulting in photography that reflects sensitivity, balance, and respect for the horse.My fine art practice extends beyond photography into hand-drawn works, where graphite techniques and careful observation remain central to my creative process. Whether through the lens or on paper, my work is guided by intention, patience, and a deep appreciation for detail.I am a wife and the mother of my daughter, Valentina, whose presence brings purpose and perspective to everything I create. Each image I produce carries not only technique and experience, but also emotion, memory, and quiet connection.
